For sale is my WO 80mm Megrez II. This scope was marketed as a semi apo and the color correction is decent. The star test shows a central zone, but in-focus images are solid. You get what you would expect from an 80mm F6.25 refractor in this class. The focuser is a smooth single speed Crayford that is a great match to the scope.

Oct 20, 2003· I didn't do the "apograde" per se but i bought a Zenithstar 80 and installed a triplet lens i got from another source. I also had owned the anniversary edition (nice scope). I never got to compare them side by side though. I also owned a Megrez II SD and both of the other scopes blew it away when it comes to chromatic abberation.
